Proudly based in Saguenay, Quebec, Les Rabat-Joies is a women-led company that has been part of the Canadian legal landscape since 2019.
Through our in-chambers service and online boutique, we offer the legal community a complete line of made-to-measure courtroom attire.
In 2024, we expanded our offering with L’Atelier by Les Rabat-Joies — a full collection of custom everyday wear, including suits, blazers, trousers, shirts, and more.
Over 85% of our creations are locally made by our talented and detail-oriented team. Our specialized expertise and high quality standards ensure garments that are durable, thoughtful, and comfortable.

How Did Les Rabat-Joies Come to Be?
It all started in 2016. Loriane, then a student at the École du Barreau, asked her grandmother Nicole to make her a beautiful tab for her swearing-in ceremony. Never one to do things halfway, Nicole designed and crafted several styles just for her granddaughter.
Word quickly spread. Loriane’s colleagues — curious and impressed — began showing interest in the creations. But as Loriane became both a lawyer and a mom, and as Nicole sought more time to enjoy life, it became harder to keep up with the growing demand...
That’s when Romane — Loriane’s best friend and former university roommate — stepped in to help. Since 2019, Romane has taken the reins and turned the project into a niche business that now employs exceptional people and is making a name for itself across the country.
